Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to join our team per diem. The role supports the RN/LVN and provides direct patient care during 12-hour day shifts.

You will work within your scope of practice to assist with patient needs and safety. Qualifications include a current BLS certification and at least 2 years of direct patient care in an acute setting within the last 5 years; EMT, CNA, MA, or Paramedic backgrounds are preferred.

Emergency Department Technician at Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour Day shifts.

Under the supervision of an RN/LVN, the ED Patient Care Technician will provide direct patient care within their scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Direct patient care experience in an acute care setting within the past 5 years, unless related certification has been achieved within the past 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, or Paramedic
• ED Technician experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
