Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center, part of Providence Health & Services, seeks a Nursing Technician observer to support nursing staff in direct and indirect patient care. This per-diem, variable-shift role offers clinical exposure and teamwork in a patient‑focused environment.

Required: active enrollment in an accredited ADN/BSN program with a 3.0 GPA, completion of clinical rotations, WA Nursing Technician Registration, and BLS certification. Pay rate aligns with market per-hour range.

Qualifications

Under the direction of an RN, Unit Manager, Lead Nurse, or designee, observes and participates in a variety of clinical experiences to assist professional nursing personnel in providing indirect/direct patient care in an assigned area. Performs related duties as assigned.

FTE / Shift: Per-diem, variable shift

Pay rate: Flat $25hr

Required Qualifications

• Once hired into the position, must maintain current enrollment in an accredited ADN or BSN program, remain in good standing, and maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• One quarter or semester of clinical rotations must be completed before the date of hire into the position.
• Upon hire: Washington Nursing Technician Registration.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Four quarters or two semesters of clinical rotations must be completed before the date of hire into the position.
