Job summary

Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA seeks an Emergency Department Technician for per diem 12-hour variable shifts. Under RN/LVN supervision, you will provide direct patient care within your scope of practice and support a patient‑centered care team.

A current BLS certification is required at hire, with at least 2 years of direct patient care in acute settings. EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, or Paramedic background is preferred to enhance ED readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Direct patient care experience in an acute care setting within the past 5 years, unless related certification has been achieved within the past 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, or Paramedic
• ED Technician experience.
