Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for Per‑Diem Day shifts. The ED Tech will assist RNs and LVNs, delivering direct patient care within their scope and supporting the fast-paced ED environment.

Qualified candidates have a current BLS certification (AHA) and at least 2 years of direct patient care in an acute setting. EMT, CNA, or Paramedic experience is preferred for this role.

Description

Emergency Department Technician at Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour Day shifts.

Under the supervision of an RN/LVN, the ED Patient Care Technician will provide direct patient care within their scope of practice.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


• 2 years Direct patient care experience in an acute care setting within the past 5 years, unless related certification has been achieved within the past 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, or Paramedic


• ED Technician experience.
