CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - New Braunfels is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support RN staff across ED operations. This per diem role covers day shifts (7AM - 7PM) in a busy hospital environment, handling admissions, registrations, and basic bedside tasks with safety and quality in mind.

You will assist with monitoring, phlebotomy, and routine ED procedures under RN supervision, while maintaining patient comfort and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT or PT Care Tech programs or equivalent CHRISTUS Emergency Technician experience.
• Current BLS certification and active one of CNA/MA/CPT/EMT licensure or national registry.

Aufgaben

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the RN.
• Escort stable patients to other departments as required.
• Clean, procure, and return equipment and supplies.
• Assist with supply stocking and clerical tasks on the unit.
• Operate patient monitoring equipment and perform phlebotomy under RN direction.
• Serve as a receptionist for the unit and transcribe orders.
