Fairview Health Services in Woodbury, MN is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) to join our 24/7 ED team at Woodwinds Hospital. The EDT assists the professional nurse, transports patients and supplies, prepares rooms, and contributes to a high-quality, patient-centered care environment.

This 0.60 FTE position offers evening 12-hour shifts (3pm–3am) with every-third-weekend rotation. Applicants should have BLS and one of several eligible certifications or current CNA/LPN/EMT

Competenze

• BLS certification required.
• One of: EMT or ERT certification, Paramedic, CNA MN Registry, enrolled in LPN/RN/NP program, or six months of hands-on patient care experience.
• Completion of Fairview’s OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program or LPN licensure is acceptable.

Mansioni

• Transports patients by wheelchair and cart.
• Assists patients with ambulation and positioning.
• Informs RN of patient/family observations and concerns.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights/requests.
• Maintains patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality.
