Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Emergency Department Technician (EDT) to assist with patient care in a fast-paced ED under RN supervision. You will support ED patients with daily activities and help maintain a safe environment.

Eligibility includes being 18+, English proficiency, and basic computer skills. EMT-Basic license in Wisconsin and BLS certification are required or strongly preferred. The role offers 12-hour day/night shifts and a 36-hour pay period.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Decision making and problem solving skills; strong spoken and written communication.
• One year of EMT experience preferred; one year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Wisconsin EMT-Basic license required; BLS certification required.

Mansioni

• Assist with patient care in the Emergency Department under direct supervision of the registered nurse.
• Provide supportive care to ED patients and perform procedures per policy.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
