Mayo Clinic is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) to assist with patient care under RN supervision in the ED. The role emphasizes supportive care, patient assistance with daily activities, and maintaining a safe environment.

Must be 18+, proficient in English, and possess basic computer skills. EMT certification (Wisconsin EMT-Basic) and BLS are required, with prior acute care experience preferred. Part-time schedule includes 12-hour day/night shifts and every third weekend.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Decision making and problem solving skills, spoken and written communication, and team building.
• One year of experience as EMT preferred.
• One year acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Minimum Wisconsin EMT-Basic license. Current BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• The EDT assists with patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Provides supportive care to Emergency Department patients and performs approved procedures.
• Helps patients with activities of daily living and maintains a safe, clean environment.
