Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) to assist with patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse. The role supports ED patients and helps maintain a safe, clean environment, with responsibilities spanning daily living activities and approved procedures.

The position requires Wisconsin EMT-Basic license, BLS certification, and strong English communication. Part-time schedule, 36 hours per pay period, with 12-hour day/night shifts and every 3rd weekend.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at start date.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Wisconsin EMT-Basic license required; BLS certification required.
• One year EMT experience preferred.
• One year acute care hospital experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Provide supportive care to ED patients and assist with activities of daily living.
