Job summary

The Emergency Department Technician I functions as a member of the ED patient care team, under supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform basic patient care tasks, take vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, collect specimens, perform ECGs, and monitor patients.

Record information in charts, communicate with care teams to ensure continuity of care, and support patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• BLS for healthcare provider CPR required.
• CNA or EMT-B certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens, perform ECGs, and basic wound care.
• Record information in patient charts and communicate with the care team.
