Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an Emergency Department Tech to join the team in Dover, NJ. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helping maintain a safe ED environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The position is full-time with evening shifts and every other weekend. Required CNA certification with BLS within 30 days, and at least six months of acute care experience is

• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Emergency Department Tech - Varied Shifts - and every other weekend

The Nurse Aid in the Emergency Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

• 3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
