Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join the Emergency Department on the night shift. You will respond to patient needs quickly, maintain safety, and support the care team with professionalism.

Responsibilities include lab draws, EKGs, monitor lead placement, triage assistance, catheterizations, dressings, and patient transport. CPR certification and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• One year nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to the demands of changing patient acuity in a positive, efficient manner.
• Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for continuous improvement.
• Practices quality service as evidenced through QI results and patient satisfaction.
• Maintains positive customer relations with all customers of the Emergency Department including patients, families, and other Center staff.
• Assists with patient care: Lab Draws, EKGs, Monitor Lead Placement, Catheterizations, Simple Sterile Dressings, Set-Up of Suture Trays, Patient Transport.
