Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support the ED team under the supervision of an RN. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Annual CPR certification.
• Attends non-violent crisis intervention within 1 year of employment
• One year of nursing assistant experience preferred.

• Assist with patient care: Lab Draws, EKGs, Monitor Lead Placement, Catheterizations, Simple Sterile Dressings, Set-Up of Suture Trays, Patient Transport (including Telemetry patients within 6 months), Set up for and assist with pelvic exams as directed by an RN.
• Assist with VS and other duties in Triage as directed by an RN.
• Document patient care using a computerized Clinical Documentation System.
