Fairfield Medical Center's Emergency Dept in Lancaster, OH is seeking a registered nurse for the night shift. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and supervising patient care using the nursing process, with a focus on family-centered care.

You will document thoroughly, work with physicians and the care team, administer medications and treatments, and ensure compliance with FMC policies.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited nursing program leading to a nursing credential (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
CPR certification is required.
Previous nursing experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
Provide education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge.
Provide thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process.
Work closely with physicians and other team members addressing patient/family concerns to ensure a smooth transition of care.
Administer medications and perform treatments in an accurate safe manner.
Ensure clinic processes and workflows comply with FMC policies and procedures.
Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.
