Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston seeks an ED support professional to coordinate patient flow within a high-volume Emergency Department. You will assist nurses and physicians, perform EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, and daily living activities to expedite patient care.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, EMT/Paramedic training, and BLS; ACLS is preferred. Expect a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and safety emphasis.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required; vocational/technical EMT/Paramedic training preferred.
• Certificate 1: Basic Life Support required; Certificate 2: Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
• 1–3 years related work experience.
• Experience with computer systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsabilidades

• Prioritizes and completes responsibilities delegated by nurses and physicians.
• Performs EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, splinting, crutch walking, and activities of daily living.
• Performs phlebotomy, specimen collection and point-of-service lab testing per protocol.
• Transports stable cardiac telemetry patients to inpatient units under ED direction.
• Maintains supply inventory and ensures equipment is clean and ready for use.
