Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a healthcare technician to support department operations, coordinate patient flow, and assist physicians and nurses. The role includes clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, and ADLs, along with clerical support and patient confidentiality adherence.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and up to 1 year of related experience. Proficiency with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office is expected.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsabilidades

• Performs competently and safely in clinical tasks of EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, splinting, crutch walking, ADLs and post-mortem care.
• Performs lab testing, specimen collection per protocol and documents results in medical records.
• Performs vital signs per protocol and communicates results to appropriate personnel.
• Performs visual acuity testing and reports results to nurse and ED attending.
• Performs oxygen saturation testing and reports results to nurse and ED attending.
