Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to provide rapid patient care in a high‑stress environment. You will perform phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, patient transport, and assist with procedures under RN supervision.

The role supports the ED team with grooming, hygiene, and comfort, while contributing to safety, quality improvement and equipment readiness. 36 hours per week on a 0.9 FTE, day shift with a 8/12 combo schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with required competencies.
• Clinical duties include phlebotomy, EKG, wound care and splinting.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with grooming, hygiene, and personal comfort needs.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKG, wound care, and education on durable medical equipment.
• Support safety, participate in quality improvement, and assist with procedures.
• May process orders, stock supplies, answer calls, and serve as a preceptor.
