Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center seeks an Emergency Department Technician to support frontline patient care and partner with RNs to deliver safe, compassionate service in a fast-paced ED.

The role emphasizes adherence to care plans, effective communication, and continuous learning, with day shifts and weekend rotations. Candidates should have a CNA or nursing program completion, Maryland CNA or EMT, and BLS certification.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA program completion or first year of nursing school and CNA exam.
• Maryland CNA certification OR EMT; active BLS.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Model positive customer service behaviors per AHC values and mission.
• Follow care plan established by RN; receive report and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with RN and other departments for patient-centered care.
• Pursue personal and professional development; participate in education programs.
• Identify resources for safe patient care; report equipment issues.
• Attend required trainings and maintain clinical and computer skills.
• Meet all other duties as required.
