Job summary

Northwestern Medical Center is seeking an ED Tech in the Emergency Department. The role is Full Time (72 hours bi-weekly), day/evening shifts, with a focus on delivering direct patient care and collaboration with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include documentation, patient mobility, vital signs, and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for use. A high school diploma, LNA/EMT certification, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduation or equivalent required.
• Must have current LNA or EMT.
• BLS required; AVADE training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Maintain medication security and inventory per unit policy.
• Transport patients to appropriate departments and assist with procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
