Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license, EMT license or graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or be enrolled in a nursing program with at least 1 year of clinical rotations completed.
• Or a minimum of 2 years current experience as an ED Tech.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, stocks, and readies the emergency department for patient care.
• Transports patients within the department and to in-hospital locations as needed.
• Performs clinical functions (EKGs, wound care setup, sterile technique, labs collection).
• Assists ED physicians and nurses with procedures and equipment as directed.
• Carries out tasks such as splinting, immobilizers, and orthopedic setup as ordered.
