Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in Massachusetts required.
• AHA – BLS certification required; ACLS for some units.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Assesses health care needs and contributes to care plans.
• Coordinates care with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Educates patients and families and serves as patient advocate.
• Maintains mandatory education and participates in quality improvement activities.
