Job summary

Baptist Health (Jacksonville) is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center Beaches on a PRN Day shift. The role emphasizes teamwork and delivering patient-centered care in a high-quality ED environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of MS nursing, telemetry experience, an RN license, BLS, and ASN; BSN is preferred. ACLS is preferred within 6–12 months depending on ED type.

Qualifications

• ASN required; RN licensure in good standing.
• BSN preferred; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 1–2 years medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience required; ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for medical, surgical and emergent patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services to support outcomes.
• Serve as patient advocate ensuring safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold Baptist Health’s mission, vision, and values.
