Job summary

Adventist Health Tulare seeks a registered nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care in a 12-hour shift Emergency Department. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as applicable; BSN degree is preferred, with acute care facility experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR or BLS certification is required per AH policy.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS required.
• PALS or ARC-PALS required.
• NRP or ARC-NALS required.
• BSN degree preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff across levels.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates duties and coordinates the healthcare team.
