Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year RN experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years experience in good standing.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California.
• Evidence of current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
• MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire.
• NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain nursing documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses and assessment of changes.
• Monitor hemodynamic status of patient and correctly interpret the results.
• Prepares, administers, monitors and discontinues IV fluids.
• Meet charge nurse expectations as assigned.
• Meets professional behavior expectations and guest services expectations.
• Performs other duties and innovations as assigned.
