Job summary

Advocate Health’s Atrium Lincoln Emergency Department in Lincolnton, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for part-time weekend shifts (3 PM – 3 AM). The 24-bed ED provides 24-hour emergency services to the community; candidates must have a nursing degree, state RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months.

Prior inpatient RN experience is preferred. Responsibilities include delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care and coordinating patient care with a focus on compassionate, comprehensive

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• RN license valid in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA).
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead initiatives to ensure patient safety and high-quality care across the ED continuum.
