Job summary

Advocate Health Kannapolis is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This part-time role supports a 24-hour operation with weekend shifts and on-site work at Atrium Health Kannapolis.

The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and ensure quality, compliant nursing practice. The position requires licensure in the state, BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months, and ED/ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Critical Care (ED/ICU) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care following standards and policies.
