Job summary

Avita Health System's Galion Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This regular part-time night-shift role (7p-7a), two shifts weekly with rotating weekends/holidays, offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and a collaborative team environment.

The ED RN provides professional nursing care and coordinates with multiple disciplines to manage patient flow. Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license and BLS, with ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Current State of Ohio RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Prioritize care based on physical and psychosocial needs and patient flow.
• Communicate ED status changes to physicians and respond to changes quickly.
