Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department to provide patient-centered care in Manitowoc County. You will utilize the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes.

The role requires BSN preferred, active RN license with BLS, and the ability to work night shifts (1900-0730) with weekend/holiday rotations; potential for higher FTE.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Active RN license with BLS certification.
• Knowledge of EHR systems and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care across lifespan.
