Job summary
Advocate Health's Advocate Lutheran General Hospital – Emergency Department seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, coordinate procedures, and support day-to-day operations during the night shift.

Qualifications
- Holistic approach to nursing practice focusing on patient/family needs.
- RN license in the practicing state, BLS certification within 6 months.
- Bachelor's in Nursing or related field; BSN planned within 2–5 years.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using nursing process and care plans.
- Promote safe, efficient patient care and daily rounding.
- Coordinate patient care by communicating across teams and departments.
- Provide guidance and supervision to clinical staff and unit leadership.
- Assist with interviewing and staffing decisions under leadership.
- Monitor staffing levels and maintain productivity.
- Ensure care quality and compliance with policies and regs.
- Assist with budget input and supplies management.
- Develop new programs and coordinate vendor in-services.
