Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse for night shifts at Geisinger Medical Center. The position offers a $21,500 hiring incentive and a minimum hiring rate of $41.50 per hour, with up to $7 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (PA) with current PA RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve highest level of care and safety.
• Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
• Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff.
• Responsible for ensuring best patient and family experience by optimizing interactions.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
