Job summary

KAISER in Clackamas, Oregon is seeking an Emergency Department RN (36Hr, Nights) to join a multidisciplinary health care team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, following physician orders and hospital protocols.

The role requires minimum nine months RN experience and ED experience or Kaiser New Grad Internship. Licensure: Oregon RN; BLS/ACLS; PALS within 6 months; NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred. Relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• One (1) year of current ED experience or successful completion of Kaiser Permanente New Grad Internship Program in the Emergency Department.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• License, Certification, Registration: RN Oregon license.
• PALS within 6 months of hire OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire.
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Assessment: performs multi-system assessments and discharge planning needs.
• Planning: develops an individualized nursing plan of care and coordinates care across departments.
• Implementation: initiates measures per protocol and documents care in EMR.
• Evaluation: evaluates assessment methods and patient response to treatment.
