Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an Emergency Department registered nurse to join a hospital in Berwyn, IL. The RN will provide urgent care for trauma and medical emergencies, work night shifts, and support a teaching hospital environment with Magnet recognition and Level 1/2 trauma center capabilities.

Qualifications include ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, and ER experience; ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

ADN or higher nursing degree.
Active and unencumbered RN license.
1+ years ER experience preferred.
ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care.
Treat patients with trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and operate medical equipment.
Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan.
