University of Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial in Harvey, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This 0.9 FTE night shift (7p-730a) position is onsite in the greater Chicagoland area, reporting to ED leadership. The RN coordinates direct nursing care, collaborates with physicians, and leads the Patient Care Team.

Required BSN or ADN, IL RN license (or temporary permit), and BLS. Preferred ED experience.

Qualifications

• Must have BSN or ADN from an accredited school.
• Active RN licensure in Illinois (or temporary permit).
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with physicians to design, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Provides complex nursing care and delegates tasks per unit competencies.
• Monitors quality of care and patient satisfaction.
• Pursues ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Ensures smooth daily operations of the Patient Care Center.
