Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The role involves 36 hours per week with a 1500-0300 shift, three days per week, and every third weekend/holiday rotation.

ED experience and IL RN licensure are required; BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with BSN progression. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating patient-centered care, supporting safe transitions to home or other settings, and maintaining CPR and AHA

Qualifications

• IL RN license required.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement to enroll in BSN completion program.
• Current AHA CPR certification is required.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing.
• Some positions may require taking call.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient-centered care in the ED.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate patient transitions to home or other healthcare settings.
