Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland Emergency Department in Shelby, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 36-bed unit. This full-time role supports 24-hour emergency services with diverse cases and a designated Chest Pain Center, backed by board-certified physicians and trauma resources.

We require an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 6 months of RN experience; inpatient RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
