Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland Emergency Department in Shelby, NC, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in a 36-bed ED. The department provides 24-hour emergency services as a Level III trauma center, with a strong focus on quality care and rapid access to specialists.

Applicants must complete an accredited nursing program, hold an active NC RN license, and have at least 6 months of RN experience. BLS is required, ACLS within 6 months, with inpatient RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where practicing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Use evidence-based practice and strong communication to maintain a safe patient environment and positive patient experience across the continuum.
