Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Adult Emergency Department. The role focuses on coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process and delivering safe, therapeutic care for adults and pediatrics in a Level I ED.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license in the state, and have BLS; ACLS within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
