Advocate Health's SouthPark Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Magnet-designated facility. This 16-bed free-standing ED delivers 24/7 emergency services in affiliation with the CMC Level I Trauma Center, emphasizing teamwork, clinical excellence, and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited nursing program, holds an RN license in North Carolina, and has at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not suitable for new grads.
• RN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and strong communication to create a safe environment and best patient experience.

Where You Will Work:

SouthPark Emergency Department is a Magnet-designated facility and a 16-bed, free-standing emergency department located in the SouthPark area, a vibrant suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. We provide comprehensive 24/7 emergency services and are proudly affiliated with the CMC Level I Trauma Center, ensuring seamless access to advanced trauma and specialty care when needed. Through a unique, team-based approach to patient care, our department consistently achieves some of the region's highest patient satisfaction and team engagement scores, reflecting our commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate service.

We're Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred
