Job summary

Intuitive Health in Frisco, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for our combined emergency and urgent care model. You will provide patient-focused care to acutely ill or injured individuals, using the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license (or compact license), BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with at least 2 years’ ER experience.

Qualifications

Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas (or compact license with the State of Texas).
Current certification in BLS.
Current ACLS and PALS are required.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department Setting.

Responsibilities

Provides patient-focused nursing care of the acutely ill or injured patient using the core nursing process.
Triages and prioritizes patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
Works collaboratively with other disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
Maintains compliance with established policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Facilitates patient transfer and discharge.
Attends unit meetings and supports staff development.
