Job summary

Baptist Health Georgetown is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department for PRN first shift. The ED RN provides comprehensive nursing care, assesses patients, develops care plans, delivers direct care and leads delivery of patient care with a focus on healing and safety.

Responsibilities include leadership, quality care, and maintaining a healing environment. Must hold KY RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky or work permit.
• BSN or ADN from an accredited college/university.
• ADN holders with <10 years' experience must enroll in a BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.
• BLS certification required; obtain within 30 days if not already certified.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop patient care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care and manage patient care delivery.
• Demonstrate leadership and support for quality care.
• Maintain a healing environment and strong customer relations.
