Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care - Georgetown is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role covers night shifts (3x12s) and full-time status in Georgetown, KY, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified individuals.

Requirements include 1 year of nursing experience, KY RN licensure, and a BSN/ASN from an accredited program, plus BLS and department-required certifications.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• One year of experience in emergency or related setting.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; obtain within 30 days if not current.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia training as required by department.

Description ED-RN:

• Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
• Assessment of patients’ needs.
• Development of patient care plans.
• Provision of direct care.
• Management of patient care delivery.
• Demonstrate leadership skills.
• Support for quality care.
• Customer relations and healing environment.

Requirements ED-RN:

• One year of experience.
• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
