Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Pool Clinical Nurse for the Free Standing ED. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care, conducting initial and ongoing assessments, and coordinating a patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with the health care team.

Responsibilities include discharge planning, documentation, and education, ensuring timely updates to care plans and active involvement of patients and families in outcomes evaluation.

Qualificações

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license issued by Florida or a Compact State.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS, PALS, NIHSS).

Responsabilidades

• Assess and analyze patients' health status in the ED unit.
• Perform ongoing assessments and document findings.
• Initiate discharge planning with initial admission assessment.
• Plan and coordinate patient care with patient, family, and health care team.
• Update and adjust the plan of care within policy timelines.
• Direct and coordinate patient care activities to ensure quality care.
• Document all patient care, orders, and patient education.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and involve patient and family in the care process.
