Job summary

Advocate Health’s Pineville Emergency Department seeks a skilled RN to join a float pool supporting Pineville ED and three freestanding EDs. The role requires ED experience and an active RN license, with BLS and ACLS timelines outlined.

You will float among Pineville and four facilities (Pineville ED, Providence, Ballantyne, Steele Creek) to ensure coverage and high-quality patient care across the region.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months RN experience; not for new graduates.
• RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience using evidence-based practice.
