Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Pueblo West. This on-site, full-time role involves delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Candidates should have an RN license and BLS, with ACLS/NIHSS preferred.

Shift is a combination of shifts. Experience in emergency nursing and trauma care will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required at start; ACLS preferred at hire or within 6 months.
• NIHSS and additional life support certifications recommended within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in UCHealth Emergency Department (ED) up to level 1 trauma.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient care.

Skills

RN licensure

RN experience (6 months)

BLS certification

ACLS preferred

NIHSS knowledge

PALS/ENPC knowledge

TNCC/ATCN knowledge

Bachelor’s degree preferred
