Job summary

UCHealth is hiring an Emergency Department RN at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO. The on-site role schedules full-time shifts (72 hours per pay period) with day shifts available and hourly pay starting at 35.29 and rising to 54.71 based on experience.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS; ACLS preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred, with ED experience valued. Orientation and ongoing competency validation are provided on site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Current BLS Certification; ACLS preferred at hire or within 6 months.
• NIHSS, ENPC/PALS, and TNCC/ATCN milestones completed within allotted times.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; relevant experience in ED is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in the Emergency Department up to Level 1 trauma designation.
• Maintain licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS) as required.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Participate in orientation and competency validation activities.
