Job summary

UCHealth’s Broomfield Hospital is seeking an RN to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma-focused certifications, with TNCC/ATCN within 12 months. Onsite schedule is 1:00pm–1:30am, 72 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required.
• 6 months RN experience minimum.
• TNCC or ATCN within 1 year of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and Trauma Nursing Core Course required or in scope.
• BLS with valid card through start date and 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in Emergency Department up to level 1 trauma.
• Utilize nursing process in care delivery.
• Precepting and collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
