Job summary

Incredible Health in Lawrence, MA is seeking an Emergency Department registered nurse (RN) to join a busy, Level 3 trauma center. RNs with ER experience are encouraged to apply across shifts (day, night, and mid) and to support urgent patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will assess patients, administer treatments and medications, operate medical equipment, participate in code responses, coordinate with physicians, and educate families about conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1+ years ER experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care.
• Treat patients suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans; determine discharge or admission.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
