Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide age-specific nursing care using the nursing process. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, collaborate with physicians, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications include NYS RN license, 1–2 years in a related specialty, and BLS; Bachelor’s preferred. Requires strong clinical judgment and leadership in patient care coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; RN license in NYS is required.
• 1–2 years of professional nursing experience in related specialty.
• BLS certification; additional certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physiologic health status and develops care plan.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team to implement treatments.
• Documents care plans, outcomes, and patient responses; coordinates discharge planning.
• Administers medications safely and educates patient and family.
• Performs age-specific nursing care and supervises care team as needed.
