Job summary

Qualifications

• Education level equivalent to an associate degree in nursing.
• Clinical competence in nursing.
• Current Georgia nursing license; BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care for diverse age groups.
• Supervise professional and skilled personnel on shift.
• Refer unusual clinical problems to the ED Director or House Supervisor.
