Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising staff during shifts and escalating unusual problems to the Director of Emergency Services. Georgia licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS within 90 days of employment are required.

Qualifications

• RN must be a licensed professional in Georgia.
• BLS Provider certification required; ACLS/PALS within 90 days of employment.
• Clinical competence in nursing and emergency care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Supervise professional and skilled personnel during assigned shifts.
• Refer unusual clinical/administrative problems to the Director of Emergency Services or House Supervisor.
